I originally created this page to present the amazing research done by David Apolloni on this wonderful jazz legend. A page with the same content and photos is available at Scott Alexander's excellent "Red Hot Jazz" website - it didn't make sense to have two sites with the same info, so I've dropped this page. Besides, his pages are prettier! (grin)
