This first of two volumes presents some of the finest "sweet band" sides recorded from the ARC labels from 1931 to 1935. There's no hot jazz here - these are not titles you'd ordinarily find here on the website. You'll find danceable fox-trots and even a few waltzes, all performed by top-flight musicians and vocalists, including Will Osborne, Freddie Martin, Adrian Rollini, Russ Morgan and Chick Bullock. A track listing and sample audio files are available below.
